Changi Airport brought Avatar: The Way of Water to life at Terminal 3 with an immersive, family-friendly experience. Visitors explored a fully themed environment featuring a light and snow spectacular at the Marui Pod, including special opera performances accompanied by a live orchestra on certain days, and interactive activities at the Mangrove Adventure Park—including archery sessions, jellyfish craft workshops, and character meet-and-greets.

Running for 53 days, the campaign required large-scale, high-touch operations. Mongoose deployed 67 trained Brand Ambassadors and a full-time Event Manager, all of whom underwent hands-on customer service and scenario training to ensure a smooth, engaging guest experience every day.

The activation delivered impressive reach and engagement: over 1,700 archery sessions, 1,575 craft workshops, 17,000 photos taken, and 3,700 interactions with in-costume performers. Appearances by ministers and KOLs further amplified media attention and strengthened campaign visibility across platforms.

My role spanned full manpower, talent, and technical operations management. This included hiring and supervising the Event Manager and crew, conducting all on-site training, and managing the entertainers, mascots, opera performers, and accompanying orchestra. I also oversaw all audio-visual requirements to support daily shows and performances. Additionally, I led the planning and execution of the media opening and coordinated the Minister of Transport’s visit—ensuring the experience remained polished, safe, and impactful from start to finish.
