To engage running communities in both Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and to celebrate the launch of the FuelCell SuperComp Elite v5, Mongoose partnered with New Balance to conceptualise and shape the “Run Your Way” pop-up activation. Held over 12 days, the activation welcomed run clubs, aspiring athletes, and curious walk-ins to experience the brand’s latest performance footwear through guided, complimentary shoe trials.

While I was on maternity leave during the execution phase, I played a key role in the pitch, initial conceptualisation, and early coordination with vendors and venues. This included developing the creative direction, mapping the runner journey, preparing the initial budget and quotations, and managing early discussions around transforming the Visual Arts Centre (Singapore) and Heritage Valley (Kuala Lumpur) into fully branded Run Your Way hubs. These foundational contributions ensured the venues could be reimagined cohesively into New Balance experiential spaces, setting a strong framework for the team’s subsequent execution.

The activation ultimately delivered strong results, with over 1,500 completed shoe trials, reinforcing New Balance’s position as a leading performance brand within the regional running community.
