AIA Global Conference Gala Dinner 2022

Every year, the MDRT organisation hosts a prestigious global conference for all MDRT qualifiers — and when the conference took place in Sydney, AIA engaged us to plan a dedicated gala dinner for their top performers attending the event, a total of over 1,000 guests.

Our responsibilities went beyond the gala dinner itself. We were also tasked with managing and hosting AIA’s VIPs throughout the entire MDRT Global Conference experience.

For this project, I oversaw the full scope of work: from conceptualising the gala theme, liaising with Sydney-based vendors and suppliers, coordinating flights and hotel arrangements for AIA’s VIPs, to planning all on-ground transport while they were in Sydney. On-site, our team managed the complete takeover of Luna Park for the gala dinner, including the set-up, rehearsals, and execution of the event.

As this was an international project, I also handled budget management across multiple currencies — ensuring smooth operations both financially and logistically.
